The format is about the same as on the real exam, the questions are a little more difficult then on the real exam. The explanation of the answers are outstanding and give great insight in the material. Don't spend a little fortune on all sorts of practise exams (like I did), this book is the best and is enough. If you still want more, take a look at MeasureUp practise exams. Advice: take all the exam questions in the book and don't limit yourself to the questions that have do with the exams you are going to take. There is a lot of overlap between the exams. After reading a lot of stuff I will only use ExamCram books in the future for preparing for IT exams; in my opinon they are the best. That being said, I am quite pleased with both the book and the examples that are on the CD. I have owned Adobe Audition for about 8 months, and for me the learning curve seemed steep. There several audio industry acronyms that often get tossed around in other Audition tutorials as though everyone knows and understands them. This is not just in the tutorials, but it pervades the Adobe User forum as well. The book goes a long ways toward explaining what is going on without drowning the reader with audio industry yak. The lessons are thoughtfully put together, and subsequent lessons build on concepts covered in previous ones. I learned more in one evening with the book and its CD than in weeks of studying other material including the Adobe Audition User's Manual. She shows the bones of a good screenplay in a manner that doesn't seem so much formulaic as archetypal: a movie starts with its status quo, hits an inciting incident; its protagonist forms a plan of action at plot point one, hits the high or low of his story at the midpoint, renews his efforts at plot point two, and earns his reward, or tragedy, in the conclusion. Schellhardt clued me in to the pattern, and now, when I sense a movie petering out or losing its focus, I have a notion why it happened. Schellhardt also covers outline writing in detail and takes a couple of pages to discuss the purpose and interleaving of subplot, as well as the usual stuff about formatting and marketing. McGowan realized that the toppling of the titan and subsequent shattering of AT and T into eight distinct pieces (seven regional providers plus one long-distance provider), shown in Figure 1-1, only resolved one of the challenges that would lead to the creation of a truly competitive marketplace. Although the best-known impact of divestiture was the breakup of AT and T (one result of which was the liberalization of the telecommunications marketplace in the U.S.), a second decision that was tightly intertwined with the Bell System’s breakup was largely invisible to the public, yet was at least as important to AT and T competitors, MCI and Sprint, as the breakup itself. This decision, known as Equal Access, had one seminal goal: to make it possible for end customers to take advantage of one of the products of divestiture, the ability to select one’s long-distance provider from a pool of available service providers—in this case AT and T, MCI, or Sprint.
